This is a 16 hour, two day course.
Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.
Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification.
Topics include- Primary and Secondary Assessments, Head/Brain, Neck and Spinal Injuries, Heat-Related Emergencies, Hypothermia, Altitude-Related Illnesses, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Burns, Bone and Joint Injuries, and Wounds and Wound Infection.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Wilderness and Remote First Aid Training digital certificate.

Lastly, we work hard to keep our classes moving according to schedule, so please arrive at class on time. The class will be held in the meeting room.

Key Rules at a Glance – We offer American Red Cross-certified classes with limited seats, so registration is final except as outlined below. By checking the box at checkout, you agree to these terms.
Cancellations & Refunds
· All requests must be in writing to [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected].
· Refunds are based on days before the in-person class date (skills session for blended courses):
· 14+ days: 95% refund
· 10–13 days: 75% refund
· 7–9 days: 50% refund
· 4–6 days: 25% refund
· 0–3 days, no-show, late arrival, or incomplete requirements: no refund
· For blended learning: If online coursework is started (“In Progress” or “Completed” in Red Cross system), max refund is 50%.
· 24-hour courtesy: 95% refund if registered 4–14 days before class and online not started (not for classes within 0–3 days).
· No reschedules, transfers, or credits unless we cancel the class.
Attendance & Participation
· Blended learning: Complete online coursework before the in-person skills session (Red Cross requirement). If not done, you cannot participate (treated as no-show).
· Some courses require prior certification or government-issued photo ID—check during registration.
· No-show, late arrival, or failure to meet requirements: no refund or credit.
· You pay for the seat reservation, instruction, and materials—not guaranteed certification.

· Third-party registrations: The person who registers/pays is responsible for all terms, delivery of emails/materials to the attendee, and compliance.
